Eid Ul Adha Wednesday May 27, 2026
Based on global moon sighting reports, the crescent moon has been officially sighted. Therefore, the 1st of Dhul Hijjah begins after Maghrib today, Sunday, May 17th, making Monday, May 18th, 2026, the official first day of Dhul Hijjah.
Day of Arafah: 9th Dhul Hijjah Tuesday, May 26th, 2026
**Eid ul-Adha**: 10th Dhul Hijjah, Wednesday, May 27th, 2026**
The Blessed First 10 Days
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
We encourage our entire community to maximize this virtuous time by increasing:
Prayers & Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah)
Charity & helping those in need.
Voluntary Fasting (especially on the Day of Arafah), which expiates the sins of the preceding and coming year.
May Allah (SWT) accept your worship and sacrifices during these blessed days and fill your homes with peace, blessings, and joy. Ameen.*
